So you think mike made a measely $120.50?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVzcjAIu1_Q
Mike Schmidt get's paid a total of not $120.50, but rather $240.50!
What people have failed to realize is their are two separate checks, one for 120$ and another for $120.50!
/u/SentientDreamer posted the following info earlier:
Security Guards are required by law to earn a wage of time and a half that of minimum wage. "
National Minimum Wage Database Chart
Now i don't know about all of you, who have sat here thinking mike was working for a paltry $120.50, but i've sat here knowing that if you get two checks like that, that they each cash out for the total shown, meaning as stated, Mike Schmidt made $240.50 cents for his first six nights.
So let's put that in a calculator:
36 hours worked (6 of which was counted for overtime of some sort, so time and a half, making that more like 39 hours)
240.50 / 39 = 6.166666666666667
Or rather, about $6.16-$6.17 an hour.
Now, if that's the actual pay rate, that means the minimum wage should be two thirds, and:
6.16(.666666666) is about 4.11
so $4.11 is the minimum wage, putting FnaF definitively in 1990, and not other year.
MORE MATH!
30 hours times 6.16= $184.80
6 hours at time and a half, which is 1.5(6.16)= $9.24 [not $13.20]
9.24(6)= 55.40
184.80 55.40= 240.20
Which is VERY close, to what mike made.
and if we use 6.17 instead (Which was wage rounded up)
We get:
30 hours times $6.17 = $185.10
and 1.5(6.17) = 9.25
9.25(6) = 55.50
185.10 55.50 = 240.60, so close you can taste it.
