So in this timeline the tales from the pizzaplex books are not considered canon, but parallels, so if there is any problem, don’t read any further.

Edit: Scott has made a controversial post regarding the books. My take is that he gave the same answer as with mangle’s gender. He didn’t confirm anything. This timeline remains the same.

This timeline begins post-fnaf 6 fire where Fazbear entertainment has been restored as an LLC and thus launches their campaign to regain public affection. They hire a game developer to create a game series that depicts and retells the tragedies of the past to put their name and story out there. Then they hire silver parasol to create a VR game to discredit the games and restore their reputation.

In doing so, they send in circuit boards and parts to scan into the game code and speed up development of the game. Whether or not glitchtrap is William or a version of The Mimic, glitchtrap starts here. It tries to use Jeremy, a QA tester for the VR game as a way to escape it’s digital prison. This fails and leads Jeremy to commit suicide. Tape girl replaces him temporarily as a way to finish his work. Her time playing leads to glitchtrap being fragmented into the tapes scattered around the virtual environment.

However, glitchtrap isn’t finished. It mimics tape girl in order to set a trap for a future player. This player is Vanessa A. Vanessa gathers all the tapes and falls for glitchtraps plan. Most of it’s code is imprisoned into a plush toy while the rest escape the game and infect Vanessa’s brain. Her soul is then imprisoned within the VR world and is abondoned. Vanny(glitchtrap-possessed Vanessa) Is a reluctant follower of glitchtraps, so it seeks out someone else.

This someone else is Gregory, patient 46 himself as evidenced in the short story “GGY” (Note I said the TFTP are parallels, but not canon). Vanny infiltrates the Fazbear Funtime service, a new project launched by fazbear with the assistance of DLZ shipping solutions. Vanny shows her confliction in her searches, where she sometimes searches normal things, other times searches for help, and then searches ways to induce self-compliance, show the amount of damage glitchtrap inflicted to Vanessa early on even after she was already damaged by her past. Something to note is candy cadets second story in HW2, referring the a woman and a boy and a witch. The boy tricks the already scarred woman into getting eaten by the witch. This I think parallels Gregory working on behalf of glitchtrap to fully convert Vanny and make her loyal. He would do this through the encrypted conversations constantly brought up in Vanessa’s therapy sessions.

Vanny sneaks Glitchtrap into the Fazbear Funtime Service and glitchtrap begins to spread to the systems and animatronics. Gregory then pretends to be someone from Fazbear Entertainment and asks for full access to Fazbear’s servers and emails so he can deal with the virus problem. After gaining access from DLZ Gregory redirects and concentrates the virus from the Fazbear service to the mega pizzaplex. Then he uses his access to take control of the Funtime service, setting up a remnant farm to gather remnant for future plans.

Gregory from there hacks into the Glamrock animatronics at the pizzaplex and allows glitchtrap to spread to the V.A.N.N.I network, taking over the pizzaplex. When Vanny goes to company mandated therapy, Gregory goes to see the same therapists at his school. If any got too close to any answers Gregory would lure them to the pizzaplex and have them killed by the animatronics. By the end of Vanessa’s tapes, she has become fully obedient to glitchtrap due to Gregory’s manipulation. Gregory orchestrates Vanny’s transfer to the mega pizzaplex as head security guard, and replaces all nightguards with S.T.A.F.F bots and possibly had the security masks created for Faz-technicians. Vanny silences any employee that got too close to the truth and murdered them. Eventually Vanny uses the Glamrock animatronics to dig her way down to the old pizzeria and then tricked the mimic into trying to wear spring traps remains which creates burntrap. Burntrap then is possessed by glitchtrap using a recharge station and remnant from the Fazbear Service.

After this Monty replaces Bonnie and Cassie’s dad begin’s to investigate the mysteries of the pizzaplex. His journey is depicted in the arcade conspiracy messages of security breach and the guy eventually finds the old pizzeria. Now, security breach begins as Gregory breaks free from glitchtraps control and loses a lot of his memory, as evident by him barely remembering his name. Gregory frees Vanny and helps the Princess shatter glitchtraps code. Gregory and Vanessa leave the pizzaplex that morning. Sometime later they return to deal with the mimic. The mimic shed the pieces of William off itself after the true ending of SB. Gregory and Vanessa trap the mimic is the storage room and set up the M.X.E.S security program to keep the mimic trapped. Tangle/the blob’s tunneling cause an earthquake that leaves the pizzaplex in ruins.

Despite this, Cassie’s dad returns and is tricked by glitchtrap into re-assembling it’s code and putting him back in control. Glitchtrap turns Cassie’s dad into a S.T.A.F.F bot and tasks him with handing out his security mask to someone else. After this glitchtrap would lure Cassie to the pizzaplex and cause her to find a Roxie talkie. Through this, she communicates with the mimic as it pretends to be Gregory. Cassie then receives the security mask and is used to deactivate M.X.E.S and release the mimic. She does so and is rescued by Roxy before the real Gregory contacts her and guides her to an elevator. She uses this to barely escape the mimic. However mimic intercepts the intercom and casts Cassie down with the elevator. The mimic presumably escapes.
