Originally designed to warp to 100 on a structure - say a Station or an IHUB that's under attack - and lock it in order to determine the hitpoints remaining (the assumption with this is that a bashing fleet is probably using close range ammo and you'll be well outside of their optimals; or if they are using long-range you can still try for a good-warp in and wind up on the other side of the structure so you are still well outside of their optimal, and in any case should be outside of point range).
With today's event, I thought it might be a good idea to roll it back out and add some guns, for those that are solely interested in killboard padding as I think this fit would work for that too.
Pros:
-Targeting range is 108km
-Aligns in 1.8 seconds
-Invulnerable to bubbles
-Module cost is only around 5m ISK, making this a really cheap fit
-11.3 AU/s warp speed. You should get to wherever you want quickly.
Cons:
-Max hitting range is around ~36km, far below targeting range
-No tank, you will die if you land in the wrong spot
-At max range DPS is 22 DPS. You're not going to kill anything with this yourself.
-No MWD, so no speed. You can, of course, swap out one of the Sensor Boosters for a MWD, though the lock range will drop below 100km
-Lock time is cut a bit due to the Targeting Range Scripts/Cloaking device. However given that this is meant to be used against really large objects that doesn't seem to matter.
-You have a relatively large signature radius. This can be dealt with if you swap a stabilizer for a nanofiber, however you need good enough skills in order to still pull off the sub 2s align time, and if you can align out in two seconds, the sig radius shouldn't matter.
