First off, I’m typing this on my phone. Apologies for any crappy formatting! This question is more for you ladies who were able to get past this fear or nervousness of exercising during pregnancy.
A little back story, I gained about 15-20 pounds last year due to shit tons of stress. I was working on losing the weight when I found out about our little man on the way. I love doing cardio and being active, but since finding out I’m pregnant I suddenly have this irrational fear of moving too rapidly/exhausting myself and somehow harming the baby!
I told myself I’d continue exercising for mine and the babies health and to maintain my current weight as long as possible, but was wayyyy too exhausted during my first trimester.
I’m currently 15w 5d and I NEED- at this point for my own sanity- to start doing something... How were you ladies able to combat this ridiculous fear of exercise?!? And what kind of cardio would you recommend for someone who’s been out of the game for nearly four months now? I’m hoping to cycle to/from work (about 10 miles round trip).
Grateful for any tips/advice/similar rants! :)
