Has anyone (personally or second handedly) experienced being able to improve their fitness while pregnant? I'm not talking about losing weight, obviously (I'm trying to gain a person here!), or big dramatic improvements. Maybe you tried something new and got kind good at it, or found taking smaller steps actually worked better for a certain activity? I'm 12 wks, and just getting back into consistent exercise (first trimester mid shift to day shift switch = all the fatigue). The goal to just try to maintain that is usually touted is just so...boring.
TL;DR Want that feeling of accomplishment over the next 6 mo (before the birth). Suggestions?
