I have never been a "foodie". Don't really care about the taste of my food that much, but I care far more about how healthy it is. I am a young, strong, healthy, high-metabolism guy who cares about long term health above all else. I am curious about starting to use my blender for green smoothies and want to get your recs for smoothie recipes that are as healthy as possible.
That means: no fruit, high protein, no sugar, added supplements are fine but I'm kinda ambivalent.
I am thinking: spinach, kale, carrots, beets, celery, maybe peanut butter, maybe whey protein powder, maybe creatine, oat milk (the healthy kind)...
Would love to hear what ingredients you all use or would recommend and at what proportions.
FWIW: I have historically LOVED peanut butter and eaten a LOT of it. Never saw a single downside from doing that but I can't imagine the oils are that great for me so I'm experimenting with cutting down on the quantities there. Expecting some loss of muscle mass, sadly.
