How is RHR calculated?
Post Body
Since I got my fitbit for Christmas it's decreased my RHR every single day. It went from 62 when I first wore it to 48 today.
I'm a bit confused how this is calculated as when I'm sitting around relaxing it's generally low to mid 50's and when I lay down to sleep it dips to 40 odd (and hits 38 when I'm fast asleep).
Is my heart rate drop whilst asleep skewing this? And is that an accurate depiction of my Resting Heart Rate?
Surely that's more my unconscious, sleeping heart rate...
Thanks!
