Fitbit strap gets kinda gross. How to clean?

So I have the charge hr and I wear it basically all the time. Except when I shower or do dishes.
I'm not necessarily a dirty person but the average amount of wrist rubbing and sweat especially working out 5-7 days a week so the Fitbit strap gets kinda yucky. It holds onto this scent that's kinda stale? I don't know how to get rid of it. I've even washed it with soap (taking the straps off) and doesn't help.
Any suggestions for the strap?
