Hey! I was recently approved as the new mod for this sub as it previously was unmoderated, so it's now resurrected and ready for action again.
I don't plan on changing anything majorly, but just wanted to restate the rules and expectations here. I will be keeping the rules as they are, at least for now. I do want to talk about Rule 2, the most important one -- in terms of a) being responsible and not allowing or promoting any harmful or pedophilic activity, and b) avoiding violation of any terms of service. I'll copy a note from the previous mod (I don't know their username) here:
A note about Rule #2:
Rule 2 prohibits stories about sexual experiences between adults and children. Which we still think is a good rule. However, we also think there is space for those stories when they don’t read like pedophile porn. Victims deserve to be able to tell their stories and receive support from the rest of us. That’s how we will choose to interpret this rule going forward.
As long as those stories aren’t overly graphic and don’t make sexualizing children the focus, they can stay. This is subjective, we know. There may be disagreements about it. But it’s worth keeping it subjective for the people who experienced trauma and want to voice it.
I want to be very clear about the importance of this rule, while also recognizing there is some subjectivity here. In the case of any ambiguity, I will tend to remove any questionable posts just to be safe. However, if you feel drawn to share a story from your younger days, that is still potentially acceptable as long as you steer clear of any graphic or sexualizing language. If your post is removed, this is not a judgement on you or your real life experiences, but simply part of keeping this space free of any inappropriate or irresponsible content.
Lastly, while I will try to be as present as possible here and stay up to date on any activity, I would really appreciate any help you can provide in the form of moderating and reporting. If you'd like to be a mod here, please message me and let me know! And if you see anything posted that violates any of the rules, go ahead and report it or message me.
Thanks for reading, and feel free to share your stories again!
