So I am signed up to run a marathon in a month. I made it through the first 10 weeks of Hal Higdon in around October and then had an IVF cycle so I was not able to train until end of December.
I started training again from week 1, and same thing is happening now, as I am in the middle of another IVF cycle and won’t be able to run until a few days before the marathon.
In my normal life, non IVF life, I train 5-6 days a week. Usually a run (4-6 miles) or an orange theory class, and one long hike once a week (maybe 10 miles, usually wearing my 25 pound toddler on my back), with an occasionally yoga or Pilates class sprinkled in for cross training.
Is it reasonable to expect that I can do this? Or am I going to do permanent, irreversible damage to my body? I don’t mind walking a lot
