I am very new to having a crack at distilling. T500 done 2 sugar wash to just play around but I'm not interested in making average stuff I want to learn to make a good decent drink.
I have seen redstar yeast 9804 mentioned a couple of times, as I'm still new I want to try this yeast with dextrose, not using grain and things yet as I'm still getting better at running the still correctly and consistently.
My question: Am I wasting my time with redstar and dextrose or does it have potential to make a decent improvement on turbo yeast and sugar?
