modem>firewalla>switch>old-wifi-Enabled-router==>wireless printer ?
Post Body

So I setup my device in router-mode, and disco'd my existing wifi-enable router. But now I dont have a wireless access point. I had the bright idea to connect the old router to my switch into the WAN port in order to connect my wireless printer.

After restarting all devices to the new setup from wifi-enabled router to wifi printer and phone with firewalla app... still no wifi printer connected/online. Printer displays its connection to the wifi network, but printer reports as offline on fw app and on printer's software center. still no printer.

Would this work?

Wifi enabled router is nighthawk xr1000. Would router be able to connect as wireless access point?

Just realized... my phone connects successfully to the wireless network thru the re-appropriated wifi-enabled router. tested good also - not on LTE network.
