I should honestly preface this by saying I'm probably not that new to the series anymore, but, I digress.

So I recently finished Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations on the 3DS, while not totally stellar, they were pretty good games overall, just some things felt lacking.

While in Birthright, it was an alright game, kinda felt standard relative to the games I played before it. It's story was pretty cliฤ‡he in some places, mostly the nearing the end, where some characters important to the story died, I saw it coming, but it still kinda sucked.

Conquest on the other hand, is a very different game, I played it on Hard/Casual to get a feel for later runs and hoooo boy, was I in for some fun stuff. I believe it was Chapter 11 where it was vs Takumi in the harbor defense, that chapter sucked, I ended up just setting up with my Einherjar (I think that's how it's spelled) carried over from my Birthright playthrough on the defense points.

Conquest's story I felt was much stronger than Birthright's overall due to some key plot points such as Corrin choosing to conform to King Garon's orders with a facade to appear like he/she is a good little Prince/Princess who follows orders to the T.

Revelation though, ehh, I liked how it brought to light many things that were loose ends in Birthright and Conquest, such as the Cloaked Swordmaster from Chapter 5 and actual info about the invisible Invaders that appear everywhere in all the games.

But Revelation's story isn't nearly as strong as Conquest's, there were some really tedious maps in Valla that were just a serious pain in the ass, but the Endgame was pretty damn awesome I might say, having the boss split into 5 parts each with 80 HP (I played Revelation on Hard/Casual as well) was a pretty cool mechanic I think.

To end it here, I think that probably my favorite parts from all three games was the music, the music was just phenomenally amazing overall and I love listening to music, the more I listened to the End of All (Sky, Earth, and Below) and the full version of Lost in Thoughts All Alone the more they grew on me overall.

I think that about wraps up what I wanted to talk about in this post, so, yeah, it's 3:03 AM and I need to sleep, g'night.

TL;DR: Fates were okay, Conquest felt strongest and music was freaking amazing
