Hi all, I thought I'd post here looking for some help and advice on a project I want to do. I am a fire dept. training officer and am looking to make a working alarm system mounted on plywood to be used as a training prop. Most of my personnel don't get to deal with alarm systems and I want to give them an easy hands-on way to learn. I have rounded up the following components from a building that was being demolished: https://imgur.com/a/7NBq78v
I'm not great with alarm systems myself other than just resetting them after an incident, but I know I'll need to find a control panel - does anyone have a recommendation for a very basic one I could find used from somewhere like eBay? Do you see any other components I'm missing?
Also, I've looked at a few manuals for systems but haven't really had any luck finding an "installation manual" other than how to just mount the item. I'm at a loss on how to wire the system together - could anyone point me in the right direction for a manual? I'm sure it will depend in part on the control panel I get.
Thanks all in advance!
