So i’m enrolling at Flatiron because i have friends who went and recruiters who rave about their programs. I personally want to get into Fintech but i’m torn between their Software Engineering cohort or their Data science cohort. The engineering cohort with speaking to a friend whose a tech recruiter told me that it could give me a good base in all coding languages in order to move to the next steps in my tech journey. But the Data science cohort gives me more specific skills that FinTechs roles are looking for such as Machine learning and SQL queries etc etc. i’ve just got into tech 5 months ago i have a few certs and experience coding using python and such but nothing compared to what i’m about to get into. Which cohort do you guys would think is best?
