Garden Furniture Finish Recommendation
Post Body

So I'm going to be building some garden furniture (some chairs and benches to go around our fire pit). I have a fairly tight budget on this project so I plan on using pine instead of redwood but I'm curious what would be the best finish to use to help these items weather the elements.

I know pine won't last as long as redwood, even with a good finish, but part of this project is to force myself to do some M&T joinery and gain some skills there.

Thoughts?
