Eating out as a critic
Post Body
There's a restaurant a friend of mine / former colleague has opened here in New Orleans, just last week. I'm planning to go a couple times then write about it here, with the disclaimer that it's probably not likely that I'll be critical about a friend.
But what I wanted to ask is this: do you approach food differently when you're planning to write about it? For me, it's usually just as simple as spending a little more time looking at what's wrong in addition to what's right.
