I'll be traveling to San Diego end of next week for a conference and will have $64 per diem to spend. I have no qualms about paying more than per diem, as well as saving the whole thing for one meal. I am well accustomed to fasting for the entire day because it can be difficult for me to find a restaurant that will be able to accommodate my gluten free diet. I'm not ridiculously sensitive, but when traveling I prefer to not take too many risks. I would really appreciate any place doing interesting desserts, as my options are normally ice cream and flourless chocolate torte, not that either of those are bad, but I can't remember the last time I had true options for dessert on a menu.
