In May Iām going to start a super strict medical diet (Autoimmune protocol) and itās intense and obnoxious (no gluten, dairy, grains, legumes, nightshades, eggs, nuts, seeds.. the list goes on) and while I wonāt have extreme consequences if I have the above, itās highly recommended to not have ācheat daysā.
Depressed af at the thought of giving up fine dining, and wondering if thereās any hope of places actually accommodating this.
I see plenty of restaurants that have listed on their site ādietary needs can be accommodated for with proper noticeā , however I assume they mean simpler ones such as no gluten, vegetarian, etc.
However, Iād hate to not try and miss out. Would put in a request for this at least a couple weeks if not months in advance. Iād be happy to pay an extra fee , even.
Has anyone actually had luck with very intense dietary restrictions being accommodated at fine dining places? (If so please let me know exactly where so I can add to the list!)
