I have a dilemma in that I adore extra long tasting menus with many courses, but my stomach does not. Even if I’m at the end not finishing my food, even if I didn’t eat lunch or breakfast beforehand, I’m still left uncomfortable at the end of these long meals and my appetite isn’t to the point where I can fully appreciate them! And I feel shitty at the amount of wasted food from me not finishing mine due to appetite.
Would it be extremely out of the ordinary for me to (before I arrive, either via the notes form or calling) request only half portions?
