I teach (Canadian) law in high school. I'm constantly asked hypothetical questions by students on a wide range of topics, often highly specific ('if you crash your car while driving drunk, can you just get out of the car and say you were walking home?" or "can a cop arrest you if you tell him' fuck you'?). In nearly all cases I can give generic answers ("remember, the law asks what a reasonable, uninvolved person would conclude...") but they don't satisfy the students as much as I'd like.
I'd love to ask real lawyers (or police, in some cases) for anecdotes and answers - but I don't want to waste people's time on /r/legaladvice since these are all hypothetical situations.
