I used to be "pretty", I'm not anymore. a support group?
Post Body

Because I have been both "attractive" and "unattractive" I know there is a difference between the way people treat you. Is there any subreddit for talking about the way people treat you differently when you are no longer attractive to them? I feel like this is something a lot of people go through, especially since many people consider "getting older" to becoming more unattractive.

When I was younger, I focused hard on being attractive, thin, trendy clothes, makeup, etc. Since being in ED recovery I've decided to abandon those things. Now, I'm fat, do strange makeup trends, don't shave, and wear clothes I think are cool instead of "shape my figure" or whatever. This all happened over the pandemic. Now that I've been getting out more, I'm kind of, well shocked but not surprised how people treat me.

But there are still things about being perceived this way that I wish I had a support group to talk about.
