Post Body

I am looking for solid advice and options because I’m 22, male, and only making 17.50 an hour full time and it’s not enough to survive in Miami FL, and by the way I was born here and feel stuck here. I’d like to boost my hourly pay to at minimum $20 or ideally $25 to feel like I can actually survive my bills rent and necessities without being broke after. I’m working an office job call center thing but I’m getting really tired of this type of office work. And I don’t really have the luxury to attend college right now and shift to part time because part time pay won’t keep me afloat to sustain a studio apartment which average cost is $1300 a month, and other responsibilities or emergencies. I wish I could live at my parents house rent free while attending school but it’s not a possibility in my life situation so I gotta make it on my own.

I really would like to somehow break the generational poverty I’ve lived in.

Can anyone recommend jobs and careers, apprenticeships, and fields of work specifically that hire people with only a high school diploma, clean background, and speak English but with acceptable pay around the $20-25 range. I’m feeling desperate and hopeless. And due to a condition I’m not a good candidate for military service.
