Pivoting management consulting -> tech

Post Body

I graduated from uni under a management degree and have about 3 years of work experience. Since then I've hopped around here and there.

My first two years were in key accounts in sales before I got an analyst gig at a boutique consulting firm. I always tried to work with data as much as I could because I found I really enjoyed number crunching.

I'm doing a lot more data analysis work and have been really enjoying it. I'm aware data science is a field with quite a bit of overlap between business management and tech. What can I look into learning to really set myself up for a good transition into a more technical role? I have a lot of flexibility in how I can work and my team is very open to new solutions (we don't use much more than excel and powerBI)

Would like to ask too what possible exit opps there are for my next job where I can leverage my current experience and can give me more experience in tech (aside from entry level dev roles, as i don't think i'm meant to be a software engineer, but hey, if it happens 😂)
