I want to try again, but my brother said something that has me thinking about other options. He said “go towards what you’re good at”
Before the academy I was an EMT who also focused on deescalation aka a psychiatric crisis specialist I was better at deescalating psychiatric patients than I was at being an EMT. I have one year of ems experience, so maybe I should get more experience, but I’m tired of living on starvation wages.
Now I’m thinking maybe I should be a cop, FBI, or a therapist. All those options aren’t going to be easy. If I switch now em I giving just because things got hard?
All advice welcome.
