I am living rent free with family right now and trying to change career paths so thought maybe it would be a good idea to invest in some education.
I have my associates degree. I don’t think I want to spend 2 years getting my bachelors and beyond though. So ideally something that takes a year or less.
I have worked as a receptionist in various medical and dental facilities for about the last 10 years.
I thought about paralegal because I have an interest in law, although I don’t actually know how long that cert takes.
Thought about medical coding because I did that a bit at one of my jobs and liked it. My only concern is I am terrible at calling patients to collect past due balances and I’m afraid any job relating to billing will have this as a required task.
Just wondering if there are any other certs out there that can help make a decent wage. I don’t need to be a millionaire or anything, just enough to live on my own comfortably.
