Title is self-explanatory. While I have my preferences (keeper (don't mind taking over a team with an already complete roster), points, weekly transactions) I'll be happy with the simplest of 5X5 leagues as long as the owners are welcoming and active. Some more detailed background on me and what I'm looking for...

34 y/o from the Boston area, quit fantasy baseball after the 2002 season and looking to get back into it this coming year. I basically quit because I didn't make my living sitting in front of a computer all day and it was the type of league (semi-big $$) where I felt like I couldn't be competitive if news broke in the morning and I couldn't get to a computer for another ten hours. I've definitely missed playing fantasy ball and looking for a league that's fun, active, I can monitor/interact with daily, yet doesn't encompass my entire life over the summer...the kind of league where I could go camping with my fiancee on a July weekend and not come back to an inbox full of messages accusing me of abandoning my team.

As far as my baseball background goes, between being home on the couch and being at the ballpark, I probably catch around 120 Red Sox games a year. Wife is a native Michigander and huge Tigers fan so I know those two teams back-to-front. I admit to being a little shaky on certain aspects (especially minor leaguers) on certain other teams...but that's one of the reasons I want to get back into fantasy, a reason to learn and track the other franchises and get back into the big picture rather than just following my team.

I'd understand being reluctant to hand over a team to a guy who admits he hasn't played in over 10 years, especially if its a super active and competitive league so don't fret if I don't seem like a fit for your league. But, if you have the kind of place where it sounds like I might fit in and you're still looking for an owner please feel let me know either with a reply in this thread or a PM and I'll get back to you ASAP.
