New friends + glitch

I keep adding people and they stop visiting me. I'm assuming they quit. Is there a way to tell when a person has stopped checking in?
If you want to visit me daily, and be visited back, please add me and send me your code! Also, someone with the name Mango and Daffodil keep visiting me and I added them to my Tree Town but they aren't showing up. The only way I can visit them is if they visit me first.
