Trying to make my own Real estate valuation and analysis models, 1 for multifamily complexes, another for retail properties. the models are to valuate the property as is and have a proforma with an analysis of the projected investment performance over a 5-10 year period
I work in Real estate so I understand all the considerations that need to be taken into account, but when making a model I get a bit overwhelmed and find difficulty structuring it in an easy to read spreadsheet.
I'm trying to break it down, step-by-step (or tab by tab) so I don't get overwhelmed and am looking for guidance on the best order to structure a model that will paint a better picture and be more easily understood for investors
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks
