So I'm getting into film cameras for the first time and I found a Pentax K1000 online at a really good price. It has barely been used and it included a flash, a timer, all the original manuals and a huge 55-200mm lens (picture down below, I think it's a Katana MC 55-200??) so I didn't think much about it and I bought it. I happen to have an old SMC PENTAX-A 35-80mm 4-5.6 lens at home that was my father's. I couldn't find much information on the internet about these lenses so I'm kinda worried they will turn out to be worse than I think they might be and mess up the quality of my images. I'll use a Kodak TMAX 400 for my first shoot and I just hope the pictures turn out sharp and contrasty. Is it worth trying these lenses out or should I try to find a regular SMC 50mm lens?
