Looking to purchase my first 35mm point and shoot, looking for advice

Can someone point me in the right direction, was gifted a Polaroid now and fell in love, I wanna branch out into 35mm and am looking to get a point and shoot. I was going to just buy the target heyday but see mixed reviews, budget isn’t an issue moreover looking for something simple. I’m a bit overwhelmed with the options out there so any advice is welcome!
