Can't get NullDC to load roms in linux

Running Fightcade 2 on Arch, things work well except for NullDC. I can't drag files into the load rom window because Wine doesn't seem to allow that, but it doesn't seem like NullDC detects the roms when I put them in the rom folder either. What should be done?
