Does the same settlement period apply for trading in an HSA? I received the money on Wednesday, trading that day, then Thursday. I couldn't trade on Friday. It says it'll settle by next Thursday, and I've incurred a violation. I spoke to a representative, and they informed me that it was a matter of the asset transfer, and funds needing to settle from that -- then I should theoretically be able to trade, by next Thursday. Will it be the same, T 1 settlement period, like with an Individual account, moving forward?
