Hi. I had (what I think is) a great idea.
The lockdown feature is great, but you can just turn it off as long as you have the password and 2FA. What if unlocking the lockdown required a second password. Not your account password mind you, but what if I could set a lockdown password then store it in my physical safe/house only. Thus, even if someone got access to my password manager, my account, my SIM/2FA, they wouldn't have the final password to unlock the account unless they broke into my house. It would be easy to implement, and it would pretty much prevent against everything but Fidelity itself being hacked or friends/family trying to break into my account.
Money would then be protected by:
- Account password
- 2FA
- A second password or passphrase used only by the lockdown feature
