How do you manage changing risk appetite as you get older?

Hi. Iā€™m only 32 now. So happy to take high risk/ high reward. For example VDHG or DHHF. But keen on how people manage the transition to an older age where you may have less appetite for risk? Do you pull out of those funds at that time? Do you divert dividends at some point to stop DRP?

Move some to bonds etc?

Help appreciated.
