There was a thread that show cased new job actions. It sparked a ton of debate about what the skills could possibly mean. But instead of fun speculation, players instead started taking this speculation as fact and started making it seem this action is for sure going to do this and that and saying they're disappointed and DT will be a repeat of Endwalker combat. Assuming the dreaded "2min meta" is sticking around and saying every job is just going to do the same rotation. Jobs like gnb and war are going to get a 2min finisher to keep in line with pld and drk.
Healers are still going to be pressing one attack button, viper is just going to be a builder spender and more.
Players are acting as if they seen everything and already assuming the worst as if they played the game already. I know many players are extremely cynical. People are even assuming what the story is going to be about as well. Have we not learned from when they surprised us with fighting zodark really early instead of the final boss everybody thought he was?
CBU3 always surprises us every expansion and not sure why people like to act like they don't.
Have we also not learned from viper not actually being a Corsair and how extremely wrong you all were and how right I was about it not being Corsair and instead a assassin like job? We don't know anything and hard believing speculations is never something you should do and it should be what exactly as it should be. Speculation.
Stop believing and taking what people say as fact when it comes to speculation just because you agree with it. Because it's almost never correct, more so with how much CBU3 always surprises us with new things. Remember how everybody thought Dawntrail was just going to be forests but Yoshida surprised us with the cyberpunk stages? Yeah..
Healers are the most worried when you shouldn't be. You don't know what's going to happen, you don't know if they changed skilles . You don't know what the new skills do. We don't know anything so we all need to calm down.
CBU3 has shown they've been listening to everybody biggest complaints from endwalker.
They're making hit boxes smaller, they're bringing back large fields operations, they're bringing back crafter content, they're adding way more rewards which obviously means better rewards for V&C. Heck, they're even replacing the benchmark with updated character creation lighting and fixes from feedback. CBU3 is listening so if you really think they just didn't do anything to the combat you're mistaken.
Wait for the media tour/ more info and stop counting the chickens before they hatch. Speculation is speculation, not a fact that's going to happen.
