I've been replaying the MSQ on an alt and am currently headed into Endwalker. During Shadowbringers it felt like there was a turning point in my relationship with a couple of the other scions, particularly Thancred and Urianger. Up to that point for the most part we've spent a lot of time with Alphinaud and Alisaie, and a fair bit of time with Yshtola but had only been around Thancred and especially Urianger in passing. So every interaction in my head was basically as acquaintances or co-workers, and maybe this is my own impression but there was even a stiffness to our interactions. But during Shadowbringers there are two moments that come to mind when we actually became friends. The first one was after Thancred's fight with Ranjit. Thancred in general becomes more like his old self, less broody but even his interactions with us are more chummy.

For Urianger the moment we became actual friends was when it was revealed he was privy to the Exarch's full plan and he apologized to us specifically for the deception. Obviously both of these moments have to do with characters releasing a bit of baggage as well so that could also be it.

I think Alphinaud looks to us as his BFF more than anyone else. Alphy, WoL and Estinien are in a bro triangle. Alisaie looks at us as a companion and a mentor, she's also a bit of a fan girl similar to Graha. Ive enjoyed seeing the moments when Yshtola teases Alisaie and Graha about being fans. Yshtola is the defacto leader of the Scions, the one we usually look to for some kind of direction though I think Alphinaud shares that role to some degree.
