Pardon my new-ness. I've been bored for a while and figured I'd pick up FFXIV today as a friend linked me the free trial. So this afternoon I downloaded it... But I'm completely unable to create a character. I can only connect to two of the three NA data centers and it seems all the "worlds" in these datacenters are not accepting new characters... I understand that the newest expansion is hitting today, and paying customers want in. But all those should be playing old characters more than likely. Is this just a restriction of the bloat from everone being on? when will worlds start accepting new characters? I just wanted to play around with the systems and see how I liked it...
