Heavensward Classes Not Appearing

Completed the quest lines to unlock Machinist, Dark Knight and Astrologian on my main, went to roll a new character to check them out and... nothing. They aren't in the class screen as an option.
Am I going about this all wrong or missed something?

OH! So I just use them on my Black Mage character? I was going about this in a very World of Warcraft way.

I kinda like starting fresh, having different looks and races for my different classes though. It's all good 😅
