I thought I wanted to play the FF14's free trial. Now I'm not so sure.

I opened a new email, created an account, received confirmation code...

Error i2501 (was using a VPN and this is apparently relevant, so how dare I).

Now I don't know how to go back to the page where I could actually type in the verification code.

The email doesn't have a direct link to it and I can't redo the account creation procedure, tells me they already sent an email to me and I need to wait for 24 hours because... why? Why such a long, arbitrary, idiotic waste of time? Also of course I can't login, because the mail isn't associated yet.

Please tell me there's a way around it, I just wanna play the videogame (which in itself will take an obscene amount of time to download anyway but if I don't have the account at the ready or I run into other arbitrary errors what's even the point).
