Hey guys,
So I've come back to the game 3 weeks ago after a 2 years break. I had the newcomer status for a little while, and then had the sprout status.
Tonight, I finally finished Stormblood, patches included, and started Shadowbringer. As soon as I left the Rising Stones, my novice status was revoked... Problem is, after two years off and only 3 weeks of being back, I'm still lost, I still have questions, I still feel like I need the novice network.
Now, I only play magic classes, so tanking is out of the question, meaning I can't be a mentor (I do have a healer class at 80 already, and a magic DPS getting there soon too, though).
What are my options? Is there a sub where people share their linkshells? I don't have many friends yet, and although I do have a Free Company, I don't necessarily want to pester them with my thousands of questions all the time, or in the cases where I will they might simply not have the answers. Or, you know, most of them are offline.
I know I could look up most things, but this is an MMO and I like the social aspect, haha. It's also faster and sometimes less complicated when someone tells you.
I'll join the FFXIV discord, so that'll help probably, but even then it's not the same as it's not in game.
I'm on Gilgamesh if that helps!
Thanks! :)
Quick edit: Getting downvoted for asking legit questions? What? Why?
