Hello everyone !
I’ve recently started playing FFXIV and I’ve been quite pleasantly surprised with this game! The story is great, the music is amazing and the content is actually fun and challenging!
I’m currently going through Stormblood’s main story and so far I’m loving it. I’ve reached a point where we learn more about Yotsuyu’s backstory which moved me. Inspired by these events, I’ve tried to learn and adapt Kugane’s theme which I love.
I’m not really a composer AT ALL, so it’s a bit simplistic, the pace is maybe a bit too fast and doesn’t really have the same vibe as Kugane’s day nor night in the end, but I wanted to give it a try and just have some fun with it hehe. Seeing the many artworks and renditions posted on this sub always leaves me completely flabbergasted by their quality and creativity, and also gave me the motivation to share this with you!
I therefore humbly present to you my version of Kugane’s theme on harp and sincerely hope you’ll enjoy it!:

I apologize for the potato sound quality, this has been recorded on my phone. I’ve tried to record from multiple locations but I had a hard time finding a good spot to balance higher and lower strings intensity. I’m not sure this is making any sense I’m really not a pro I’m sorry.
If you have any advice or suggestions you’re more than welcome to criticize I appreciate all feedbacks! Thank you and have a great weekend!
