Proposal: "Pick what you 'need' regardless of current job" system.

Post Body

It seems nobody really likes the recent "greed for all" system the devs implemented for raid. However I can see where they are coming from. The reasons they decided to implement this change are most likely:

1) Allow people to queue with whatever job they want, and not be constrained by the job they can need the stuff they want.

2) Fix the unbalanced situation regarding possible competition for loots in raids (Before, tanks never had any competition while most other jobs had on average 1 or more).

So I was thinking: what if they create a system where people can set a specific job they want to need as before they start the duty? For instance you can set your "need" job as "PLD" and then queue as WHM or BLM, but whenever it's time to roll the "need" options will only appear for tank stuff and not for healers or casters.

This would still solve all the problems of point 1 and 2, my question is if people would be fine with this or still be against it, since the chance of having 7 competitors would still be possible.

Another advantage of creating this system is that once existing it could also become a loot rule option for other instances, mainly raids and trials farm parties.

EDIT: It could also be made it so you can only set to "NEED" a job you have leveled to max.
