Just a bit of backstory: White Mage has been my main since 2.0 and I love it. Loved it in FFXI too. Then Astrologian came in 3.0 and I fell in love with it. Just liked having that extra bit to do with buffs and I found the concept of the job cool too.

Ultimately I stuck with WHM throughout HW because I found Astrologian to be a little weaker on healing/dealing damage. Dealing damage is not the biggest deal but I solo a lot of stuff so it's nice to do a little bit.

I find the same problem in SB. The main problem is the way most tanks run dungeons is they pull multiple packs of mobs. In the expert dungeons (and even some of the higher 60 dungeons), I so very barely keep up whereas with WHM with the exact same gear I don't have that problem.

Now I get since AST has buffs, there's got to be some give on other stuff. But I find I literally have no time to worry about buffs when I'm spamming Benefic over and over again. If I stop for just a sec, the tank would die.

I want to love AST and probably make it my main, but I find healing dungeons so much more stressful and I don't have time to really buff people which is where the class shines.

Anyone else find the same thing? Any possible advice?
