The past few days I have not been able to log in because someone supposedly reported me for harassment. Now I am not one to take harassment lightly. I know plenty of people that are harassed both in rl and ingame and am always someone that sympathizes and condones such actions. If I were able to talk to the person who felt upset I am sure I can just apologize and tell them I didn't mean something to be offensive. However, SE has never given me such an option to do just that.

Well today I found an email stating that they have terminated my account. And the fact that I am told my account has been terminated because someone that I do not know thought I was trying to be mean/rude/demeaning/or agitate them is insulting. Especially because I have no way to defend myself from such accusations. I have called the SE support line and they were unable to assist. They have told me I need to send an email to the FFXIV ingame support (which I have and have yet to get a response) or to contact them ingame for more a immediate response.

After chatting with some FC mates on discord I was informed that sometimes GMs have been known to give advice on this subreddit. If there is anyone here that has experience with this and can give me advice please let me know what I can do to appeal this decision. I truly enjoy this game and have worked hard on my FFXI and FFXIV characters over the year. I have played FFXI for many many years and never had one incident with harassments. Then I joined FFXIV 2.0 shortly after my bff passed away because we both planed to play this game together. But had to quit to help support my recently blinded mother. After a year and a half of taking care of my mother she passed away of pneumonia in 2016. Shortly after that I rejoined the game to try to connect with others and enjoy a game that I was forced to give up. But now some people have thought it wise to report me for problems they have had with me (instead of doing something like blisting me or asking me to stop doing what they felt was harassment). Please, if someone can tell me what I can do to be able to challenge such an unfair ruling.
