As the title says. When i first started this game, i hated caster classes, mostly BLM due to the lack of movement involved and how linear it looked with fire fire ice. then i played SCH/SMN later (because seeing a class that can Ahk Mourn a mob seemed legit. Ahk mourn.), and im a decent SMN, and i have a crapload of fun with SCH. Recently finish BRD and MCH. (i note them due to the cast times for gauss/wanderers). And i've gotten a feel for how to move around and work with a cast bar. I just need some motivation to... fire fire ice it out all day, or is it less linear when you get higher? Can some BLM mains tell me what makes it fun, or the advantages to being a BLM as far as caster dps goes?
in depth info welcomed. I got time to read. Its my last job below 50, and im one 60 away from grandmaster of war. grandmaster of magic would be nice too i guess.
