I have a friend who likes trading some steam games and I asked if he could get me ARR. He said "sure" but first I have to make sure that this version will be compatible for me. I live here in Asia(PH) and the shop I buy in is always out of stock. They had it during the release last year but I think they stopped restocking after a month. They do sell game time though.

I was able to get Dark Souls(unavailable in our region as well) via r/giftofgames and was able to play it so I'm wondering if I am gonna be able to play ARR if I get it via gift as well.

EDIT: IT IS UNAVAIABLE IN OUR REGION. I was wondering if getting it via trade will allow me to play it. I was able to play Dark Souls after getting it from a person even if it was locked from our region.
