Issue regarding PS3 graphics

Hey everyone, as the title says, I think I might be having issues with my graphics for the PS3. The graphics just seem...really shitty, and choppy. I'm hooked up to an HD TV and everything, and I know this is really a game designed for PS 4 and PC, but are the graphics suppose to look really choppy and shitty for PS3? It doesn't even seem like I'm playing a game on PS3, it just seems like I'm playing a game on a really shitty computer.
