If you are someone who puts low level equipment up for sale super cheap so that newbies can buy it (I assume that's why) then I just wanted to say a massive thank you.

May you never tread on a Lego, May your crushes always be mutual, May every restaurant you go to have exactly what you want, and may it always be cooked to perfection, And finally may all you endeavours, both in our world and the world of Eorzea be fruitful.

EDIT: lots of responses, and lots of different reasons people do it, whether it's actively trying to help. Or just to get rid of some excess gear, no matter the reason you're all helping sprouts.

For those of you who have been playing a while, you may have forgotten the anxiety that comes with doing dungeons with other players for the first time. In the past, for me, it has been so bad that I've given up playing for weeks at a time. Having that extra oomph of the gear you sell for, sometimes just tens of Gil, really really helps ease that anxiety.
