So, I got 14 for PS5 back in December and have been really enjoying it. Currently chipping away at the Stormblood quests. After some research, I decided that I was gonna focus-fire the main story quests with my starting job (Conjurer/White Mage), soloing what I can since that should get me to max level then start exploring side content and the more social side of things when that's out of the way. So far I've only made exceptions to unlock aether currents and glamour plates.

Odds are, I'm probably gonna stick to that plan but got myself wondering what other people thought.

On one hand, focusing on the MSQ will give me ample time to get comfortable with the ins and outs of what I hope to make my go-to class in the long run instead of remembering which job does what and how I have my hotbar set up.

On the other hand, maybe it could be nice to take a short detour from the MSQ to chill or unlock a feature or something without any worries of exp rewards going to waste and having a tank or DPS on the back burner could help with daily roulette stuff..
